Pennsylvania can expect to see occupations within the health services sector increase at more than double the average rate of other jobs in the state. In fact, one of every four jobs created throughout the next few years will be health-care related.

Pennsylvania has developed special programs to entice nursing students to study and work in the state, including a loan forgiveness program, nursing-specific educational grants, and a scholarship program targeted at graduate nursing students who plan on working in nursing education.
