Are you man enough to be a nurse? That's what Oregon was asking its male residents a few years ago during a creative campaign to bring more nurses to the field. The state forecasts a 28% growth in the nursing industry, largely attributed to the increasing aging population. Oregon boasts a wonderful nursing network of simulation labs, as well as a shared vision and voice that nurses all around will tell you make it a great place to work.

Portland is home to the largest log cabin in the world, built in honor of Lewis and Clark. The famous Oregon Trail was the longest route followed during the country's westward expansion. Also, harbor seals were first successfully bred in captivity at the Seaside Aquarium.
