An influx of retirees to Nevada means nurses are in demand throughout the state. Nursing opportunities are forecasted to increase by 51.2% through 2012, and Nevada is working on increasing accessibility to nursing education programs. Currently, eight schools throughout the state offer nursing programs, and some of these programs now offer accelerated scheduling.
